Hambrough Primary and Nursery School

We are an Every Child Count’s school. This means we use interventions from Edge Hill University to help children who are below national expectations in mathematics. We currently have one specially trained teacher for our Numbers Count intervention and three trained teaching assistants in Becoming First Class, First Class@Number, First Class@Number 2 and Talk4Number. Rigorous, active lessons focus on number and calculation, helping learners to develop skills, language and attitudes that will ensure good progress in class lessons.
